Maggie Fleming - Financial Planner, IFA, Trust and Tax Expert
Maggie Fleming is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and is a member of the Personal Finance Society (Dip. PFS). She is a fully qualified STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) practitioner and is an experienced and highly-qualified Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). At Isis Financial Planners she specialises in providing tax and trusts advice to our clients.
After 11 years as a specialist at Arthur Andersen she joined Rainbow Finance Limited - IFA, specialising in personal tax planning and opening Rainbow's Brighton office. She now heads up Isis' office in Brighton.
She is a well-known figure in Brighton and writes for the local Brighton papers, the Daily Telegraph, as well as various professional journals and has also spoken many times on local radio. She has also appeared on the BBC's Breakfast program talking about the UK's Civil Partnership Rights.
Her biggest challenge was to confront Gordon Brown, on a post-budget phone-in. Gordon, at the last minute couldn't (or wouldn't) turn up to face Maggie!
In mid-2005, Maggie was appointed to the highly prestigious Personal Taxes Sub-Committee of the Technical Committee of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
